Arc-Tec Portfolio - Casa del Sol

This spectacular home was one of the first homes built by Arc-Tec Inc. after relocating here from Houston. The owner started his dream home by sketches he had drawn on a napkin. He then had an architect put it on paper in the form of a plan. The first set of plans were not much more than the floor plans and front and rear elevations. The owner-designer designed the finishes as the home progressed and this project became one of the most rewarding projects I have been a part of.

One of the most challenging aspects of this project was to nestle this three story structure safely on the 40 degree slope of the lot as it overlooked Lake Travis. However, as the dream home developed,  the excitement  of constructing this unique one of a kind home made all the challenges worth while.
