About Wayne - When Wayne Beaty went into the custom home building business, he did so with multiple talents. Born and raised in Baytown, TX, his father was a carpenter and builder. At the age of 18, Wayne's first job exposed him to fine art, framing, and fine cabinet making. In 1972, he opened his own custom mill shop, designing and building custom cabinets and block paneling for some of the finest homes, boardrooms, and banks in the Houston area. Working with Houston's most talented designers, he completed many major remodeling projects in River Oaks and Memorial, and other areas such as Las Vegas, Dallas, New Orleans, and Laredo.

Armed with an eye for design and expertise in remodeling, Wayne started building new custom homes. Relocating to the Austin area in 1997, Wayne has been building custom homes for almost 30 years. A hands-on builder, some days you will find Wayne with a hammer or shovel because someone didn't complete their job to his satisfaction. He personally supervises each home he builds with attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality at every stage of construction. He is on each jobsite daily and is in constant communication with his customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Wayne is always available to answer your questions or to help you with a design issue.
